Нам нужно знать английский, чтобы смотреть английские фильмы или слушать английские песни. Именно поэтому многие в наше время стремятся изучить английский язык самостоятельно.

An early choice of a career path is the key to success

The problem of choosing a career has been widely debated for many years. Some people think that one can be successful if choosing a career early. However, there are plenty of people who have an opposite view.

In my opinion, one can build a career successfully when he or she thinks about it during school years. Firstly, knowing what you want to do in life as early as possible is needed to pass the state exams and go to college or university. It helps to have bright prospective in life after graduation and become a successful person. Secondly, an early choice of a career is compulsory for some professions, such as sportsmen or musicians, otherwise you will not be able to achieve good results and succeed in life.

However, some people believe that early choice of a career is not important for success. In their view, sometimes it takes a lot of time for people to realize what they want to do, so one should not hurry taking a decision about his or her future.

Personally, I do not agree with the above opinion. I am convinced that children usually do not have too much time to think over, as their future depends a lot on their exams.

In conclusion, although there are different opinions on this problem, I still believe that in order to succeed in future one must think about his or her career in childhood.

Bullying

It is undeniable that bullying is a significant issue in our lives. My speech aims to discuss bullying, which can occur in various settings such as home, school, and work, and can have long-term effects on the target.

The issue lies in the fact that the consequences of bullying can be enduring. Those who are bullied often experience depression and may even contemplate suicide. They may also struggle to make friends and feel isolated. Additionally, witnessing bullying can also have adverse effects on the observer.

In my opinion, the solution to this problem involves seeking the help of adults. Parents and teachers should create a safe and supportive environment for all individuals. It is crucial to recognize the signs of bullying and take action to prevent it. In fact, bystanders who witness bullying should intervene by reporting it or offering assistance and support to the victim.

To sum up, bullying is a serious issue that requires everyone’s attention. It is the responsibility of each individual to take a stand against bullying. We must all remember that bullying is unacceptable, and we should all play a role in preventing it.

Charity

It is undeniable that charity has become increasingly popular in modern times, as people have become more compassionate and generous. In general, charity refers to the voluntary act of providing assistance to those in need. The purpose of my speech is to discuss the various forms of charity.

Charitable giving can encompass a range of actions, including donating money, goods, time, attention, and kindness. Most forms of charity involve providing essential items such as food, water, clothing, shelter, and healthcare.

On one hand, there are numerous charitable organizations around the world that allow people to donate directly or online. These organizations include food banks, religious institutions, and hospitals for the less fortunate. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have an abundance of toys or warm clothing, and some may struggle to find employment. Others may be ill, disabled, or elderly and unable to care for themselves. In these situations, charity can make a significant difference.

On the other hand, individuals can also incorporate charity into their daily lives and help those in need. In my opinion, acts of charity can take many forms. True charity is not limited to monetary donations, but can also involve a kind word, a sincere smile, and love towards others.

In conclusion, charity plays a crucial role in our lives. If more people made charity a regular part of their lives, the world would undoubtedly become a better place. This is all I wanted to tell you about charity.

Computers cannot replace people

Computers have become an everyday part of our lives. Some people believe that it is impossible to change humans for computers, whereas others consider that artificial intelligence is found in different spheres of life nowadays.

In my opinion, people cannot be changed by computers. Firstly, though computers revolutionize the way people live they are not so powerful compared to the human brain. Robots are fragile and break easily, while people can notice when something goes wrong and fix it. Secondly, computers cannot do everything. Thirdly, computers cannot be easily taught unlike humans.

However, some people believe that computers will do all the work for humans soon. In their view, in some spheres robots are used instead of people because they can do some operations much better. For example, they can calculate quickly and without mistakes. Besides, labour-saving and user-friendly devices are widely used to make the life easier.

Personally, I do not agree with the above opinion as I think that though computers are widely applied in some spheres, they cannot replace people where human emotions, feelings, imagination are needed. Besides, though we use different modern gadgets they tend to become obsolete rapidly.

In conclusion, although there are different opinions on this problem, I still believe that humans will never be replaced by robots because some work will always be done by people.

A cultural festival is a special occasion that honors a specific culture or group of cultures. It’s a time for people to come together and enjoy the unique music, dance, food, and customs of a particular culture. It’s like a large gathering where everyone is welcome to learn about and celebrate a specific culture.

Cultural festivals hold great significance for various reasons. Firstly, they provide an opportunity for people to learn about different cultures, promoting understanding and respect for those who are different from us. Secondly, these festivals allow us to take pride in our own cultural heritage, reminding us of our roots and traditions. Lastly, cultural festivals are a source of fun and excitement, bringing joy to our lives.

At a cultural festival, one can witness a variety of interesting things. This may include people dressed in traditional attire, traditional music performances, diverse food options, dances, plays, and handmade crafts or art. All of these elements contribute to a better understanding and appreciation of the culture being celebrated.

In conclusion, cultural festivals are a wonderful way to learn about and celebrate the diversity of cultures. They promote understanding and respect, bring joy and excitement, and allow us to take pride in our own cultural heritage.

Education is the most valuable thing for a teenager

Education plays a very important role in our lives. Some people consider education to be the most valuable thing in adolescent’s life. However, there are plenty of people, who believe that there are many other things, which are more valuable than education.

In my opinion, modern teenage boys and girls must be educated. To be educated is the most valuable and important thing in their lives. Firstly, an educated person has bright prospective in life. One has an opportunity to enter the prestigious high school, get a degree, find a good job, be able to apply the knowledge obtained at college or university, move up the career ladder, which helps him or her to get a high salary. Secondly, an educated person can get some academic achievements. One can win different competitions and get grants and scholarships.

However, some people believe that education is not the most important thing for an adolescent. In their view, teenagers engage themselves to specific hobbies, which can be useful in their lives but they cannot devote much time to their hobbies because education requires much time.

Personally, I do not agree with the above opinion. I am convinced that educated people always find time for their hobbies.

In conclusion, although there are different opinions on this problem, I still believe that teenage boys and girls should get education because it is the most valuable thing in their lives.

Environmental protection

There is no denying that today there exist big problems with the environment which must be solved. The aim of my speech is to tell you about some environmental problems and measures to prevent them. I have my own opinion to this topic, I am sure that we, as inhabitants of planet Earth, must respect and protect the surrounding nature.

To begin with, one of the primary concerns facing humanity is the contamination of water, air, and soil by industrial facilities. On a daily basis, these factories emit a significant amount of toxic chemicals that make their way into the air, water, and soil, ultimately affecting our health. To prevent illnesses caused by these substances, we must take action. For instance, factories should install filters to separate harmful substances.

Additionally, deforestation is a crucial issue that needs to be addressed. Trees play a vital role in producing oxygen, which is essential for clean air. Moreover, trees serve as habitats for various animals, and by cutting them down, we disrupt their homes. To maintain the ecological balance, only old and dry trees should be cut down, while new ones should be planted in their place.

In conclusion, I can say that the state of the surrounding depends only on man and his actions. To my mind, we must try to protect our nature in order to prevent its destruction. That is all I wanted to tell you about environmental protection.

Exams motivate students to study harder

Everybody knows that exams are the indicators of students’ knowledge and passing exams is hot topic for debate in recent years. Some people think that examinations are highly motivating for studying. However, there are plenty of people who think that exams bring much stress in student’s life.

To my mind, it is necessary for students to pass exams in order to study harder. Firstly, the necessity of passing exams makes students take their studies seriously. Students prepare for their exams and during preparation they improve their knowledge. Secondly, getting good marks or high score at the exams is an achievement to be proud of and it gives them an opportunity to enter prestigious high schools. Lastly, exams give an opportunity to show students’ abilities.

However, some people believe that exams do not make students study better. In their view, exams can be stressful for students and do not show their real knowledge.

Personally, I do not agree with the above opinion as I think that taking exams regularly, students get used to them and try not to worry much.

In conclusion, although there are different opinions on this problem, I still believe that students should pass exams in order to study harder and have academic achievements.

Friendship is the greatest gift of life

Friendship has played an important role in people’s lives for centuries. Some people think that having friends is the most valuable thing in life. However, there are plenty of people who think that they can do without friends.

In my opinion, you need a lifelong friend in our life. To begin with, you need somebody to tell your emotional experiences and secrets and you cannot deny the fact that your friends know all about yourself. Sometimes friends are the only people to support you. Besides, you are not bored with friends by your side. You choose friends according to your similar interests and mutual understanding. You often share the same ideas and have much in common. You enjoy each other’s company travelling or spending time together.

However, some people believe that to have friends is not necessary. In their view, family and close relatives always stay with you, while friends can leave and betray you, and it is not easy to maintain friendship.

However, I disagree with the opinion mentioned above. I consider that you get to know each other quite well and real friends become as close as family members.

In conclusion, although there are different opinions on this problem, I still believe that to have real friends is of great importance. You must remember it and value friendship.

Global warming

There is no denying that the state of our health directly depends on the state of our nature and of our environment. The aim of my speech is to tell you about some ideas in connection with recent climate changes, especially global warming, its consequences and its conditions.

Firstly, global warming is a long-term increase of the temperature of the Earth’s climate. The reason of this phenomenon is human activities, namely the exhaust gases of cars and factories and burning chemicals. This can be fatal to the whole world, for example, this appearance can destroy a habitat for animals and they can die. It causes diseases in animals and people and destroys our health.

Secondly, it is our responsibility to prevent destruction of climate and nature and to protect the environment. For instance, it is necessary to stop burning fuel or to switch on biofuel.

In conclusion, I can say that the state of the surrounding depends only on man and his actions. To my mind, we must try to protect our nature in order to prevent its destruction. That is all I wanted to tell you about global warming.

Main teenage problems

It cannot be denied that teenagers face numerous challenges and their lives are greatly influenced by their parents, friends, living conditions, and education. I am fully convinced that this stage of life is the most difficult, and the purpose of my speech is to explain why.

On one hand, teenagers often feel reliant on their parents. They believe that their problems and lives are not important, and their parents do not make an effort to understand or support them.

On the other hand, adolescents struggle with feelings of insecurity and inadequacy. It can be difficult for them to make friends and fit into society. In order to be accepted, they may feel pressured to conform to certain behaviors and constantly think about their actions and words. Unfortunately, many teenagers turn to alcohol, drugs, or other risky behaviors in an attempt to prove their coolness.

Additionally, school can also be a source of problems for teenagers. Many teachers simply assign tasks and expect results, without considering the individual feelings and thoughts of their students.

In conclusion, all of these issues stem from a lack of attention and understanding. In my opinion, all teenagers want to be listened to and treated as adults. This concludes my discussion on the main problems faced by teenagers.

One should read about historical sites before sightseeing

Some people think that reading about historical places before visiting them is necessary whereas others think that it is not necessary to learn about them.

I personally think that it is important to learn about historical places before visiting them. First of all, learning some facts before will broaden our horizons and make sightseeing more exciting. You can experience different sightseeings across the globe by reading. Moreover, you can skip the guided tour and just enjoy visiting the site on your own. You can wander streets, go sightseeing and admire breathtaking views without the help of a guide. Finally, you can explore other places which are not shown by the guided tour.

However, some people believe that to learn about historical sites before is not necessary. In their view, having learnt about the site, you may be not interested in the excursion.

Personally, I do not agree with the above opinion as I think that you may ask the guide some questions about the site. You can remember and understand more of guide’s explanations when already knowing some information about the historical site you are visiting.

In conclusion, although there are different opinions on this problem, I still believe that to have much information about historical places before visiting them is very important.

Robots will soon replace people in all jobs

Some people say that human beings will be replaced by machines in any profession in the near future. At the same time, it is common to believe that not all places of work are possible to be taken by robots.

In my opinion, artificial intellect will be used in all jobs instead of humans. Firstly, modern technologies are developing extremely fast today, so I am quite sure that soon there will be a possibility to invent any machine which could be smarter, more accurate than any specialist. Secondly, robotization is said to be highly beneficial for the mankind. This change could give people more free time for self-development and relaxation.

However, there is a widespread idea that some jobs do not exist without humans. Substitution for robots is unobtainable where personal interaction, creativity cannot be omitted, as machines lack feelings, imagination also refers to a person’s characteristic only. Consequently, psychologists, artists and other professions of this kind will always demand human participation.

I do not agree with the opposing point of view. Modern technologies are becoming highly advanced day by day, so I am sure that soon the solution to the problem of artificial intellect’s feelings and imagination will be successfully found.

All in all, I personally believe that nothing is impossible, so replacement of people with robots in all professions can also happen in some years.

They say there is connection between a person and his or her room. Some people think that by seeing a room you can learn about the identity of its owner. However, others are sure that you will never infer a person’s identity based on the room.

In my opinion, a room can tell you a lot about the character traits of the owner. Firstly, the disorder in the room indicates laziness, while seeing the order you can consider the owner to be neat. Secondly, the objects there give you some idea of person’s preferences. For example, there may be many posters featuring famous singers or a collection of video games. All these objects show that a person likes to listen to music or play video games.

However, some people believe that there is no connection between a room and the owner’s personal characteristics. In their view, our assumptions may be false, as, for example, a person may share a room with a relative.

Personally, I do not agree with the above opinion as I think that the items placed there can be eloquent enough to tell much about the host, despite the fact that he or she shares a room with anyone else.

In conclusion, although there are different opinions on this problem, I still believe that a living place reveals a lot about the character traits of a person.

Some people think that extreme sports help to build character

The topic of extreme sports is widely discussed in recent years. Some people consider that extreme sports are of great use in making a person psychologically stronger. However, there are plenty of people who believe that extreme sports are dangerous and useless and they do more harm than good.

In my opinion, extreme sports help a person to become strong and hardy. Firstly, they are dangerous and require a good physical preparation and courage. A person, who is constantly engaged in skydiving or ice climbing, works on self-regulation and discipline. He or she is struggling with his or her own fears and learn to cope with challenges by going in for extreme sport activities. Secondly, an individual becomes a fearless, straightforward and hard-working person. Extreme sports will give him or her inspiration and motivation to do new things. A person will not be afraid to face any difficulties.

However, some people believe that extreme sports are risky. In their view, these sports can be rather dangerous, so instead of becoming hardy, courageous and fearless persons may get stressed and have some health problems.

Personally, I do not agree with the above opinion as I think that if the necessary safety measures are taken, extreme sports are not so dangerous.

In conclusion, although there are different opinions on this problem, I still believe that extreme sports play an important role in modern life and they are one of the best ways that can help one develop a very strong character.
