Part 1

cow fly(n) eye hut

Somewhere above there lives an old man. He has a cow. The cow is big and white. She has big black spots on one side. Her eyes are green her nose is large. Cow’s proud is her long tail. The cow uses it to wave away the flies.

One day the old man becomes weak and cannot looking for the cow. The cow is staying careless now. So she decides to come far away from the man to find a new house for herself.

She goes and sees the hut. Very old woman goes out the door and says:

– What do you want young cow? Are you getting lost?

– Oh no, mistress. I am looking for the new house. – says the cow.

– Ok. Let’s live with me!

And now the cow stays live with the woman.

Part 2

milk goat horns tail

The cow lives with the woman only one week but she already does not like her new mistress. The woman does not feed the cow and demands a lot of milk. So, the cow goes away to find the new house again.

Not far from woman’s hut the goat is walking. The goat has big round horns and the long beard. Her wool is white like the snow. Goat’s tail is small, straight and short. The goat sees the cow and asks:

– Dear cow. Where are you going?

– I am looking for the new house. – answers the cow.

– Take me with you. – tells the goat.

– Ok. Let’s go. It is more fun together.

So, the cow and the goat go to find the new house together.

Part 3

The cow and the goat go and see a big beautiful house. The young man goes out and asks some questions:

– Animals! What are you doing here? Where are

you going?

– We are looking for the new house. – answer the

– Let’s live with me! My house is too big for me. –

tells the man.

The goat and the cow look at each other.

– What do you think, goat? – asks the cow.

– I do not mind. – answers the goat.

So, the goat and the cow live with their new master for three weeks. Do you think they like to live here? – No, they do not! The young man does not let them go. He keeps animals locked.

Once the man forgets to lock his house and goes to his neighbors and the cow with the goat go out and run away.

A donkey lives in the neighboring stable. The donkey is grey with white stomach. He has long ears. The donkey is small and thick. He sees how the cow and the goat run and follows them. After some time, the donkey cries:

– Wait! Where are you going?

The goat and the cow turn back and stop.

– We are looking for the new house. – answers the goat.

– Take me with you. My life is too bad here. – says the donkey.

The goat and the cow think some minutes and say:

– Ok, – says the goat, – you may go with us. There

are two of us. We will have more fun with you.

So, the cow, the goat and the donkey go to find the new house together.

Part 5

The cow, the goat and the donkey go several days. Suddenly they notice a very old hut on the field. Its windows are dirty and the door is break. A ram goes out the hut. His eyes are blue, his wool is long, brown and curly.

– Good morning, master, – says the cow, – we are

looking for the new house.

– Take me with you, – tells the ram, – my mistress is

dead and I stay alone here. My hut is broken and I cannot live here anymore.

The cow, the goat and the donkey think a little and decide to take the ram with them.

– Ok, – says the donkey, – you may go with us.

There are three of us. We will have more fun with you.

And the cow, the goat, the donkey and the ram go to find the new house together.

Part 6

The cow, the goat, the donkey and the ram are going for a long time. They pass many villages but any house and host like them. Suddenly animals notice a very sad hen sitting on the big stone.

The hen has red scallop on her head. She has brown eyes. Her body is red as if it burns fire.

– Good morning, hen. Why are you so sad? – asks

the cow.

– I am too sad. – answers the hen. – I have a good

house and a kind hostess but now I have nothing because I become old and cannot bring many eggs.

– Do you want to go with us? – asks the donkey.

We are looking for the new house too.

– Of course I do! – answers the happy hen.

– There are four of us. We will have more fun with you. – says the ram.

So, the cow, the goat, the donkey, the ram and the hen go to find the new house together.

Part 7

firewood meadow night

Animals go many days and nights till the cow, the goat, the donkey, the ram and the hen see a lot of firewood on the meadow near the forest. They look at each other and the hen says:

– Let’s build our own house!

– Oh, I see… – says the cow – better house is the

house which you make yourself.

So, the cow, the goat, the donkey, the ram and the hen build the new house. They build it for a long time. Beautiful house is turn out. Our friends begin to live happily and friendly in their new house. Since that time none of them go looking for a new house.

Strawberry Pie

Part 1

bog basket nut pie

Somewhere above there on the deserted bog lives the beaver. He has a small hut. The beaver feels lonely.

There are a lot of animals which know about a lone beaver but nobody wants to be his friend.

One day the squirrel says bad news about the beaver. She hides the basket with nuts and forgets the place where she does it. Once the beaver finds the squirrel’s basket by chance. Naughty squirrel sees the animal with her basket and decides that he takes her nuts for fun. She was offended at him. Since that time the squirrel becomes the enemy for the beaver. She tells every animal in the forest about the greedy animal. The animals forgive the squirrel and do not have any wish to communicate with unfriendly beaver.

In summer the beaver has his birthday. This year he decides to bake the strawberry pie. He thinks the aroma spreads through the forest and animals come to his birthday party. They see how hospitable he is and become friends with him.

The beaver opens the cookbook and finds the recipe of tasty strawberry pie. He starts to read loudly: “to prepare the cake you need: – two glasses with sugar;
