Примеч. пер.: в своей книге Скотт Каннингем, естественно, приводит список американских поставщиков на состояние 1985 года, поэтому никаких ссылок на сайты, естественно, нет. В поисках поставщиков можно, естественно, воспользоваться Интернетом. Кроме того, есть и другие источники (я буду перечислять те, которые существуют в Санкт-Петербурге, но аналогичные места есть и в других городах). Во-первых, многие из перечисленных магических растений можно найти в городе, даже большом: на пустырях, на железнодорожных насыпях, газонах и т. п. Употреблять их внутрь, естественно, нельзя, но в качестве фимиамов, изготовления куколок и мешочков и т. п. целей они подходят просто великолепно. Сухие растения можно приобрести практически в любой аптеке. Недостатком таких растений является то, что от длительной механической переработки они иногда полностью утрачивают свою силу. Готовые фимиамы можно приобрести в эзотерических магазинах типа «Логос», «Роза Мира» и т. д. Ароматические масла можно приобрести в самых разных местах: в эзотерических магазинах, на различных выставках, магазинах типа «Здоровье и красота», но, как ни странно, самый широкий выбор представлен в аптеках. Не сочтите за рекламу, но лично я предпочитаю сеть аптек «36,6» – в них очень широкий ассортимент ароматических и базовых масел австрийской компании «Стикс» и российской компании «Реал». Недостатком этих масел можно считать их высокую цену. Маленький совет: натуральное ароматическое масло (объем 5 мл) стоит, как правило, от 100 рублей и выше. Что неудивительно, поскольку для получения, например, 1 кг розового масла требуется переработать 4 тонны розовых лепестков. Натуральных ароматических масел по 20 рублей за 10 мл в природе не бывает! Такие вещи, как шафран и бобы ванили, можно приобрести в магазине «Гималаи». Многие магические растения, используемые также как пряности, можно приобрести на рынках нашего города.

Список литературы

Хотя книг по магии существует великое множество, книг по магии растений не так уж много. Лишь некоторые труды подробно рассматривали эти вопросы, поэтому данный библиографический список состоит из книг по таким вопросам, как мифология, фольклор, антропология, этноботаника, магия и ведьмовство.

Все справочники по травам создавались с использованием более ранних трудов – и этот не исключение. Хотя список книг, изученных мною, весьма внушителен, он далеко не полон. Это – руководство для тех, кто хочет пойти дальше.
