Эффект масштаба (отдача от масштаба) – влияние пропорционального увеличения всех факторов производства на выпуск. Если увеличение всех факторов производства ведет к увеличению выпуска теми же темпами, то говорят, что имеет место постоянная отдача от масштаба. Если темпы увеличения выпуска превышают темпы увеличения факторов, имеет место возрастающая отдача от масштаба, а если выпуск увеличивается меньшими темпами, то имеет место убывающая отдача.
