Резюме
В данной главе предпринята попытка обобщить основные результаты эпидемиологических исследований употребления ПАВ и распространенности наркологических расстройств. Эпидемиологические исследования направлены на описание распределения различных состояний в разных популяциях, а также выявление общих и специфических факторов риска и взаимосвязей с характеристиками индивида с целью прогнозирования и профилактики развития заболеваний, которые направлены на более уязвимые группы людей. Таким образом, эпидемиологические данные позволяют изучать этиопатогенетические связи и определять мишени для интервенций, направленных на предотвращение развития и прогрессирования наркологических заболеваний с учетом контекстуальных особенностей разных стран и в мире в целом.
